About These Terms

These terms of service govern your use of the Vertex Property Care website and any services you engage us to provide. By submitting an enquiry or booking a service with us, you agree to these terms.

References to "we", "us" or "our" refer to Vertex Property Care. References to "you" or "your" refer to the customer requesting or receiving our services.

Our Services

Vertex Property Care provides exterior property maintenance services including, but not limited to:

All work is carried out by vetted local trade partners operating under our direction. We act as the primary point of contact and are responsible for ensuring work is completed to a satisfactory standard.

Quotes and Pricing

All quotes provided by Vertex Property Care are free and without obligation unless otherwise stated.

Quotes are based on the information you provide at the time of enquiry. If the scope of work differs materially from what was described — for example, gutters are significantly more blocked or a driveway is larger than stated — we reserve the right to revise the price before work begins. We will always notify you of any change before proceeding.

Quoted prices are fixed for the specific job described. Additional work requested on the day will be quoted and agreed separately.

Bookings and Confirmation

A booking is confirmed once we have verbally or in writing agreed a date and time with you. We will make every reasonable effort to attend at the agreed time.

In the event that we need to reschedule due to weather conditions, equipment issues or other unforeseen circumstances, we will contact you as early as possible to arrange an alternative date.

Your Responsibilities

To allow us to carry out work safely and effectively, you agree to:

We will not be liable for any delays or inability to complete work caused by failure to provide reasonable access or accurate information about the property.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule a booking at any time. We ask for as much notice as possible — ideally at least 24 hours — so that we can reallocate the appointment slot.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule bookings in exceptional circumstances, including severe weather or equipment failure. We will not charge for cancellations made on our side.

Payment

Payment terms will be agreed at the time of booking. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due on completion of the work. We accept payment by bank transfer, cash, or other methods as agreed in advance.

Late payment may result in a charge of interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, where applicable.

Quality and Complaints

We are committed to delivering a professional, clean finish on every job. If you are not satisfied with the work carried out, please contact us within 48 hours of job completion and we will make every reasonable effort to address your concern.

Liability

Vertex Property Care carries public liability insurance covering accidental damage caused during the course of our work. In the event of a valid claim, liability is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the damaged item, up to the limit of our insurance policy.
